SUMMER TRAINING Anyone training prior to or for a future channel swim can go down to Folkestone harbour over the Summer period where our Swim Liason Officer 'Dan Earthquake' will be present for any advice or observing on the following dates:Fri 21st and Sat 22nd May; Fri 28th, Sat 29th and Sun 30th May Fri 11th and Sat 12th June; Thurs 17th - Sat 26th June Fri 2nd and Sat 3rd July; Fri 9th and Sat 10th July; Fri 23rd and Sat 24th July Fri 20th and Sat 21st August Fri 3rd and Sat 4th September; Sun 19th September
'Swimming the Channel' an online exhibition To celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the first successful Channel swim by 'Capt. Matthew Webb' on 24th August 1875, the Dover Museum has put together an online exhibition/resource called 'Swimming the Channel'.
